Next week is Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America week!
You”otter” celebrate by visiting the library today and checking out some Dr. Seuss books!
It’s leap week! 2020 is a leap year, which means February has one extra day. To celebrate, you can visit the library every day at OPL After School and be a scientist with our wind STEAM stations! These stations were provided by the Franklin Institute’s LEAP Into Science program. Today’s activity is engineering a wind powered LEGO car!
We’re learning about wind at tomorrow’s storytimes!
Ages 0-2 can experiment with wind and make a fan craft at Mother Goose on the Loose at 10:30am, and ages 3-6 can make this wind sock craft and become wind scientists at 11:15am.
Adults & teens can join us on Thursday, March 26 at 6pm to make these adorable bunny flower pots at Pinterest Night!
Pinterest Night is free to attend, but donations help us with supplies for future programs!
