Chosen by Native Americans for thousands of years, this prairie, river, and wooded bluff landscape has provided the essentials of life and culture. This family friendly demonstration and presentation will focus on the Native American village. We will take a look at the family, social, and political issues that the Shawnee brothers, Tenskatawa and Tecumseh, and other Native American tribes facing eradication. Discover how Prophetstown got its name during this interactive program.
