We are excited to announce that OPL has teamed up with the Tippecanoe County Arts Federation (TAF) and Otterbein Elementary School to create a mural in the library’s meeting room. The creation will be produced by Amber Heigl’s 6th grade art classes with the direction of TAF’s resident artist, Stacey Bogan. The 5 foot tall 20 foot long mural will be a wonderful and bright addition but more importantly it will be a lasting legacy for these Otterbein students. Giving a visual representation of what it is like to be a kid, living in Otterbein today, as we celebrate our state’s 200th birthday. It will reflect the towns history while highlighting what is important to our youth today.
