Draw the wind at today’s After School program!
It’s leap week! 2020 is a leap year, which means February has one extra day. To celebrate, you can visit the library every day at OPL After School and be a scientist with our wind STEAM stations! These stations were provided by the Franklin Institute’s LEAP Into Science program. Today’s activity is engineering a wind powered LEGO car!
We’re learning about wind at tomorrow’s storytimes!
Ages 0-2 can experiment with wind and make a fan craft at Mother Goose on the Loose at 10:30am, and ages 3-6 can make this wind sock craft and become wind scientists at 11:15am.
Ages 17 and under can learn and create with us every Tuesday in October from 3:45 to 4:45. We’re exploring fall-themed science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities. After-School STEAM will also incorporate Leap Into Science’s wind-theme programming. Registration is required, click here to sign up Free to attend October 1: Wind…
