As many of you know 2016 marks Indiana’s 200th birthday. To celebrate, a state wide torch relay is taking place. It started last week (Sept. 9th) and will last through October. Benton County is stop #83 out of the 92 counties. On October 11th, between 4:30 and 7:00pm, the torch will pass from Newton County through ours. Residents are encouraged to stand along the route to cheer on their favorite torch bearers. To see details on the Benton County route, go to:
