The library you “otter” be in is going back to normal hours! Starting Monday, June 1, the Otterbein Public Library will be open MWF 11am-6pm, T&Th 11am-7pm, and Sat 11am-3pm. The library is also resuming in-person programming. Curbside services will still be available.
Also starting June 1 is OPL’s Summer Reading Program: Imagine Your Story! This summer, all ages will be challenged to imagine amazing new stories. Participants will complete up to 30 reading challenges for 3 prize drawing entries. Reading challenges for ages 6+ include: folklore, fairy tales, Hoosier legends, and magical creatures. Ages 0-5 are challenged to read 20+ fairy tales, 20+ fiction books, and 20+ non-fiction books.
Along with reading challenges, kids and teens can visit the library every weekday at 1pm for stories and activities.
Ages 6 and under can join us Tuesday mornings for storytimes! Mother Goose on the Loose storytime for ages 0-2 is at 10:30, followed by Preschool Storytime for ages 3-6 aat 11:15.
